I'm ashamed to say, I'm an electric guitar lover, but I discovered the music of Jason Becker only a few months ago. It happened by chance, a video recommended by Youtube based on my previous research. It was a Jason song, I listened to it and I was amazed as it had not happened for a long time.
So I looked for more information, I read his story, listened to all his songs and now I can say without a doubt that Jason is my favorite musician. He is also a wonderful person and a great inspiration.
Jason Becker is a legendary guitarist and a brilliant composer. At 20, he was already the best, but because of the disease he can no longer play guitar. Today he can't either walk, talk and breathe on his own, but he still continues to compose and release amazing music using only his mind and eye movements.
His latest album is a marvelous work of art created by his musical genius and played by some of the best guitarists in the world: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, Steve Morse, Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman and many others.
I highly recommend buying "Triumphant hearts", as I did, because it is sublime!
